If you want to keep some annoying kid away from your computer, you could always try and build a DIY USB monster hub, like the creator of the USB hub in the picture. This “monster” is basically a USB hub with some tape and cloth jumbled with some (rather cool looking) red LED lights as eyes. If you’re into monsters, you’re welcome to try building one of your own.

If you want a USB desk fan and also a USB hub at the same time, this USB fan hub might just be of interest to you.
While combining a USB hub and a USB-powered fan might not have any added benefit, aside from the convenience of having 2 devices in one, it does save a little space on your desk.
$14.99 for a little more space on your desk, that doesn’t sound too expensive, does it?

Brando’s new product, the USB Super 16-port Hub is pretty useful for those who run out of space with a seven port USB hub. Besides that, there are two USB type B connectors to connect between two computers though only one USB A/B cable is provided. A slide switch on one side gives you the ability to swap all 16 ports from one computer (PC, Mac, Linux box, whatever) to the other connected computer and on the other side is a power switch. Other than that, this hub should give you enough ports so that you won’t have to plug and unplug your favorite USB gadgets again.
