Joe D’s concept of a beautiful, Atari VCS-style Wiimote, Nunchuk, Perfect Shot, and Classic Controller makes us want to slap some wood veneer over the shiny white controllers right away. While thirty years and Jonathan Ive have clouded our minds, one look at something like this reminds us that real electronics look like furniture. Microsoft knows this!
Despite being one of the most obvious designs (in our minds), we didn’t see a woodgrain theme on the one decal site we checked, the popular DecalGirl. That means the market is wide open! We’re not sure, however, what’s going on with the lights. Electronics with lights? That’s crazy.

If you happen to have a copy of Microsoft’s Windows 3.1 lying around and also happen to own a Nokia N810, why not try to do what John has done? We’ve seen folks lay their noggins on some pretty interesting pillows, but these critters just stand out like no other. Featuring Dig Dug himself along with a menacing Pooka, these homegrown cushions were created by manicmaiden for his / her brother’s birthday. We know what you’re thinking, but it doesn’t seem as if this particularly thoughtful individual is accepting applications for adoptions.

Truth be told, we still can’t believe this is the first commercially available glow in the dark Xbox 360 chassis, but then again, glow in the dark hasn’t been remotely fashionable since Bill Clinton left office. Still, if history is beginning to repeat itself, you know you want to be first on the bandwagon, and there’s no better way to throw it back than with the XCM Glow Pearl case. As it stands, the shell isn’t quite ready to be ordered, but we’re sure it’ll be worth every penny when your BFF sees just how gnarly this thing is in the dark.
