Console modder Sam Thornley actually built this Pac-Man Mini handheld way back in 2007, but he only recently shared it with the members of Ben Heck’s forums, and we’re sure glad he did. There’s nothing too special at the heart of this one, just a Jakks Pacific Namco Arcade Classic system, but Sam hit all the right marks with the little details, from the red buttons that are just itching to be pressed to the old school flip switch to the bigger-than-it-has-to-be casing. If you think you’re up to the task of building your own, you can find all the details you need an plenty of pics to guide you on your way by hitting up the read link below.

The humble Lego minifig has just turned thirty and it seems appropriate to do something to celebrate his/her birthday. So, without further ado, here are two scenes by Thom, a Lego fanatic that resides in London and apparently has a penchant for non-alcoholic beverages and minifig scenes.
Title picture: the minifig is doing what you think it is doing, streaking, with the local constabulary hot on his heals.

Cigar smoking is a filthy disgusting habit which just might look less so if you have some cool-looking accessories to go with it. The Precision Cigar Cutter features twin, spring-loaded blades of surgical steel that will take down cigars or pinkies of up to a 58-ring thickness.

Asovision has a brand new toy to go along with the current Olympics fever - the 5 Second Stadium Toy. This toy is but a simple stopwatch that aims to get your internal clock down to pat, where the whole objective is to press the button at exactly 5 seconds. There is no reward when that happens - no fireworks or streamers being popped, nor will you get a gold medal. All you will have to make do with is the satisfaction of knowing you did it. I suppose any standard watch with a stopwatch function could step in for this toy, but if you’re a person who likes dedicated devices, this is it.

Alarm clocks always seem to be popular in terms of geek gadgets. This latest Laser Target Alarm Clock looks to try and wake you up on time by forcing you to do some target practice. Of course, if you’re awake enough to actually hit the target (from a reasonable distance), then you’re probably awake enough for work. It’s easy to imagine these alarm clocks finding themselves smashed on the floor. That’d be a real waste of $18, wouldn’t it?

Have you ever been at a party and went to grab a cold one, only to find nothing but ice in the cooler? Talk about a major buzzkill. Now if there were only a way to lay claim to several beers at once, to ensure you’d have plenty for later. Well that’s where the Beer Belt comes into play.
This handy utility belt allows you to store up to six ice cold brews on your person. While this may seem like a cool idea, you will look like an idiot, and everyone will be looking at you when they run out of beer. Honestly, I think whoever created this $18 gadget should lay off The Simpsons for a bit.
