Kuchofuku has just announced its Suzukaze air conditioned seat cushion, tipping the scales at a mere 261 grams, making this the perfect traveling companion as you will be able to tote it with you virtually everywhere you go. It also doesn’t take up much juice, making the total operation cost negligible at the end of the month as using it for 8 hours daily will cost less than 5 yen monthly - that’s roughly 5 cents or so after conversion.

For those of you out there with golf on the mind at work, you might try out this Golf Ball Mouse and pad.
This mouse pad isn’t going to improve your short game, but you can pass the time putting around with a tiny ball and driver. The mouse doen’t exactly look like it would be too comfortable, and it kind of reminds me of those hockey puck mice that used to come with the old iMacs. No word on pricing or availability.

How many times have you had someone riding a bit too close to your bumper that you’ve wanted to tell off? Sure, you could always flip them the bird, but if they’re not paying enough attention to you, they might not notice. So why not put a nice light-up sign in the back of your car that can let them know how you really feel with the push of a button?
This little device goes in the back window of your car and can be made to emote things like “Thanks”, “Sorry” and well, flip them the bird for you. Of course there’s a good chance that when you flip this thing on, you’re going to make their driving even worse. Pick one of these up for around $50.

Despite it’s efforts to shut down its smoggy industry and alter its weather for this year’s Olympic Games, it seems that Beijing just can’t catch a break. With the games set to begin in only 2 and 1/2 months, sandstorms from Mongolia are causing Beijing’s air quality to go from bad to worse to worst — and the authorities are warning citizens with respiratory ailments to stay indoors.
Right now, Beijing’s air quality is officially rated as “heavily polluted” — not exactly the kind of environment that attracts world class athletes. Usually, these sand storms hit Beijing skies in March and April, but for whatever reason, they seem to be trying to sabotage the Olympics.

Now, we know that the MacBook Air is one thin laptop, but some Apple forum members in Germany are claiming that the edge of the laptop is not only sharp — but downright dangerous. According to “Apple Talk” reader Bajuware, his MBA went kill-crazy all over his elbow while he was cold-chillin’ on his couch. The details are a little hard to suss out due to the language barrier (and machine translation), but it would appear the Air’s bottom edge made nasty work of the human flesh like someone had insulted its mother. Another MBA owner claims his computer is sharp enough to slice bread, though we assume it’s not used for buttering. Honestly, we’re not sure what kind of danger an innocent MacBook Air could really pose besides causing you to throw out your back constantly plugging in the AC to charge that not-quite-as-advertised battery.
